* Only use DNS Server settings if your
computer refuses to be set up without them.
If you fail to properly set up the proxy settings or deselect the
"Connect through proxy server" you will not be able to
access the Internet.
Proxy Settings for Filter
Internet Explorer for Windows
From the tool bar select View then choose Options…
Go to the Connection tab. Make sure "Connect through
proxy server" is selected then click the Settings…
button.
To set the proxy settings to HTTP, FTP, GOPHER use: Filter.BauerCom.Net
on port 81 and
leave Socks blank.
Fill in the "Do not use proxy server for addresses
beginning with" the following: Filter.BauerCom.Net
Internet Explorer for Macintosh users:
Open Internet Explorer. Select Edit and
choose Preferences…from the toolbar. Go to the Proxy
tab.
For HTTP, FTP, GOPHER use: Filter.BauerCom.Net on
port: 81
Bypass the proxy server for: Filter.BauerCom.Net
Click OK.
